In addition to raising awareness about humane dog training tools and methods, we are planning a series of community campaigns and projects.

Our first campaign will be The No-Choke Challenge.

Inspired by the Never Shock A Puppy Campaign and  No Choke Challenge that took place in Boulder, Colorado in 2010, we will be raising $2500 in 2012 to purchase 100 body harnesses and matching six foot leashes.  They will be given away in exchange for shock, prong or choke collars.

Turn in your dog’s:

  • shock collar
  • prong collar
  • or choke chain (no questions asked)

and we’ll give you:

  • a new body harness
  • a six foot canvas leash
  • a five minute leash walking lesson from a reward based trainer
  • a training pouch with treats
  • and a Jing-A-Ling dog bandanna

and other goodies.

You Can Teach an Old Dog New Tricks!

Make sure your dog trainer uses reward based training by asking about their methods and observing a puppy training class before taking your puppy.
